Opens California Distribution Center
MFS
Supply, an Ohio-based company that
provides locks, lockboxes and property management supplies, has opened a
10,500 square-foot warehouse in Santa Fe Springs, Calif. The new
distribution center will greatly decrease ground shipping time and cost to
West Coast customers, the company says.
Until now, MFS Supply has been shipping products nationally from its
corporate headquarters in Solon, Ohio. The new facility will house the same
inventory as MFS Supply's Ohio warehouse, including lock boxes, sump pumps
and dehumidifiers.
"This facility will serve our West Coast customers, allowing next-day and
two-day shipping to California, Arizona and Nevada," states Mike Hajec, MFS
Supply's director of operations and development. With shipments leaving
California and Ohio, almost all U.S. cities can receive ground shipments
within two business days, the company adds.
